We are so excited to share that after 3 years of translation work on a local African language, the Gospel of John has been finished, printed and currently being DISTRIBUTED!
Kay West, a missionary and founder of Swaziserve, who shares the love of Christ in eSwatini and South Africa, is holding the new printed Gospel of John in the picture above. It's hard to describe the excitement of believers receiving the newly translated Gospels of John for the first time.
Thank you to all the GapFill.org donors who contributed to this project. Please continue to pray for the ongoing "secret distribution" of the Gospels of John, that eyes will be opened through the reading of God's Word.
COMPLETED JULY 2024 - $2,500 Donated
An existing missionary couple needed to go home for a short time. GapFill donors were able to supply the plane tickets while others joined in to supply the housing and local transportation needs. I love how God doesn’t ask us to do everything, just the piece he gave you to do. Then when everything comes together, He gets the Glory!!! Thank you, Jesus, for bringing everyone together for this need.
COMPLETED JANUARY 2024 - $500 Donated
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. (Psalm 116:15).
Matshepo Jele from South Africa passed away in December 2023. She was a good friend, mentor and Christian ministry partner of Kay West. Matshepo was a powerful woman of God, serving Him with all her might until her last day. She was a tireless evangelist, preaching even from her hospital bed! She and her beloved husband, Bishop Jele, together as Adullam Prayer Ministries, have blessed entire communities as pastors, countless children through their feeding programs and discipleship, the elderly with another feeding program (in conjunction with Swaziserve), and so much more. Well done good and faithful servant!
COMPLETED SEPTEMBER 2023 - $1,000 Donated

Thank you, GapFill donors, for your sponsorship for the sister’s home for the aged.

The Stanfield’s are Christian missionaries in South Africa and are currently involved in a clean water outreach project to an “island that must not be named”. The elders of the village asked if they could help rebuild the well that had been broken for over 10 years. The vision has been to build relationships with the village through providing clean water. Their greatest prayer is for private conversations to open up about Jesus through this project!
Much progress had already been made before Kevin Stanfield reached out to GapFill.org donors for help. A major donor had backed out of the project, and they had the 30 "90mm by 50 meter" purchased pipes that would hook the well up to the village sitting on the dock waiting to be shipped. GapFill donors jumped in and were able to raise the remaining funds needed to get the pipes shipped out and funds to get the team needed to travel to the island to organize the delivery and installation. They are currently working to bring the water 1.5km down the hill from the well to the village!
Hallelujah! God is Good! Please continue to pray that the relationships that has been built over the last few years with the local people will grow and the Good News of Jesus will continue to spread through the island.
COMPLETED FEBRUARY 2023 - $450 Donated
Thank you GapFill donors for this washer machine that was a need for one of our Christian missionaries. Something that most Americans take for granted is a luxury for many missionaries. Their washing machine broke and with no funds available this missionary was spending much of her time washing clothes by hand. With no dryers in this country, laundry was taking even longer to dry.
Thank you for this huge gift to this family of five.
COMPLETED JANUARY 2023 - $1,165 Donated
Thank you GapFill donors on the positive impact you had through the funding of 10 mini-libraries to help spread the Good News of Jesus. GapFill was able to work with a missionary in an international mission organization to help reach a vast region in South Asia inhabited by totally unreached Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and Tribal religionists. These libraries played a crucial role in spreading the Good News of Jesus to unreached regions. Thank you again for your generosity.
COMPLETED DECEMBER 2022 - $3,215 Donated
After 8 years of discipleship, GapFill.org along with a missionary team in South Africa flew "H" to Madagascar (an island country in the Indian Ocean) to record a new worship album for "the Island that must not be Named". Because of your prayers and support, Christians in the area were able to complete a new worship album in their native language. This will be a tool both for the underground church and a way to share Jesus with everyone. GapFill donors raised funds for the studio recording, complete post-production work of mixing and mastering and CD and memory stick duplication along with digital distribution across all platforms. Praise God!!!
Thank you for your prayers and generous support in this project. Because an encounter with Christ changes everything!
"I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, 'Here am I, here am I.' (Isaiah 65:1)
COMPLETED JULY 2022 - $50,043.01 Donated
Missionaries Phil and Chris Carr have served in Papua New Guinea as Bible translators for more than 30 years. At the end of January 2021 Phil suffered a catastrophic stroke that left him unable to move his limbs, though his cognition was unaffected. Phil was medevaced to Australia then medevaced to his homeland of New Zealand. Phil remained at St John of God rehabilitation center in Christchurch New Zealand until November 2022 as he slowly improved.
Recently Chris was able to purchase a home for Phil and herself in New Zealand. It is a very suitable little over-60 units, originally designed to be wheelchair accessible. After Phil’s long stay at St John of God rehabilitation center, he was able to go home on November 16, 2022. We are Praising God for his work in Phil’s body!
Phil has come so far since he was medevaced in January 2021. Thank you all for your constant prayers and generous giving to Phil and Chris. You have blessed them tremendously. Phil continues to make small gains in movement etc. We are praising God for this, and that Chris and Phil are together, at home, and progressing in the work God has given them as they continue in their Bible translation work in the Bamu language.
This GapFill Project has been completed and all donated funds have been transferred to Chris and Phil for their use. If Phil and Chris find that they have additional needs in the future, GapFill will open another project and give donors a chance to donate again at that time.
Words cannot express the overwhelming support you, the GapFill Donors, gave to Chris and Phil during this time. Your continued generosity, kindness and prayers directly contributed to Phil’s success. May God richly bless each and every one of you as you have blessed Phil and Chris. Please continue to pray for complete healing in Phil’s body.
COMPLETED FEBRUARY 2022 - $1,340 Donated
The missionaries working with getting the used SUV from the US to Nigeria want to specially thank the GapFill.org family for standing by them throughout this project. They have already had two successful outreaches in Nigeria, with glorious testimonies.
The first outreach was in a slum called Powe where the homeless built temporary huts. They arrived with Bibles and clothes for the children. The gospel was preached in all the huts and the donated clothes and other items were distributed to about sixty-eight people, consisting of thirty-five households. Five people gave their lives to Christ.
They again shared the gospel at Cameroon IDP camp, an extremely crowded settlement. The donated clothes and other items were shared among eight compounds (each compound consisted of twenty-five families). The missionaries noted, “It was heart-warming to see smiles on the faces of mothers and children as some of their needs were met. We shared the gospel to about two hundred and twenty people, with eighteen people giving their lives to Christ.”
In each of these outreaches, the ministry SUV was used to move the donated items and the team members from their base to the people in need. What would have cost thousands of naira was made easy because of the availability of the mission’s vehicle.
The SUV has been critical to the day to day running of the Nigerian missionary organization Christ-Jesus to Unreached Mission International (CUMI). God Bless all GapFill.org donors for their generosity in making this project possible.
COMPLETED OCTOBER 2021 - $11,400 Donated
Once again, God’s provision has exceeded Tony’s expectation. Tony’s craniofacial deficiency surgery need has been met. Thank you all who contributed to his surgery need. The procedure is two-fold, and includes alterations to the structure of both his upper and lower jaw.
Tony is still eagerly waiting to get to Sicily, again God’s provision has been evident, where Tony will begin working alongside his parents and others to build God’s Kingdom amidst displaced refugee’s. His surgery procedures will not happen until he arrives in Sicily, where God has already provided both an orthodontist and surgeon - and both are very good. Truly, giving yourself to God demands everything and costs nothing! There is no sweeter debt, than a life owed to Christ. Thank you once again, GapFill donors, for your amazing generosity.

This missionary is one of our long time “sensitive area” missionaries. She needed fibroid surgery and needed to not only get the surgery but also needed care afterwards.
The donors of GapFill were able to fly her to an area where Christian’s could help her. Her Doctor picked her up from the airport and went straight to the hospital to start the process. The missionaries in that area agreed to host her in their guest house during her recovery process for a minimal amount. She was surrounded by Godly brethren in a peaceful environment, with someone to cook for her. All this because of the $800 donated by GapFill supporters.
Her response …“God bless you all for standing by me. Thanks be to God and to loving people like you who prayed and gave.”
GapFill.org could not agree more! :-)
COMPLETED JULY 2020 - $9,300 Donated

Thank you to all who donated toward Stan Balken’s 2018 Greece trip to lead a music class for Russian and Greek High School students.
Stan taught an American Music class to 17 Russian students. He started off with simple relational concepts then moved them into questions about the Soul. Being in Greece was a perfect place to distinguish mythology and reality as well as discussions about philosophy and the questions about “Why”. Why are we here, how did we get here and where do we go when this life is over? Stan shared his own personal testimony with them, explaining how the best medical help did not fix his problems, but God did.
Thanks for being a partner in Stan’s outreach as he challenged the students what they had been taught and what they personally believed in.
COMPLETED FEBRUARY 2018 - $1,158.51 Donated
Thank you GapFill donors for helping with the repair of the hill and path in front of the boy’s orphanage. The erosion on the hill and path was due to severe rains. They are so grateful for your generous and timely help for the repair. The picture shows the boys standing on the exact spot where they had the landslide. They are so appreciative of the repairs completed as they have had some unusual early rains that have been torrential. There is no doubt they would have lost the whole house if the repairs had not been completed.
Thank you for your selfishness in your giving to others around the world.

More than 27 million people are caught in the horrible web of human trafficking. The numbers are staggering. Yet there is an answer. As in every other period of history, Christians have risen up against an evil seemingly too great to overcome and offered the only refuge of hope and healing; that which is found in Jesus Christ. Ministering the love of God to those whose lives have been shattered by this evil is an overwhelming task, one that requires the next generation to rise up and show the love of Christ in the most difficult of situations. A team of young people have headed out to answer God's call to this field of service and will be actively ministering to those who have recently been rescued from the nightmare of human slavery.
Thank you GapFill donors for sharing the love of Christ in the midst of this horrific evil.
