GapFill.org is partnering with the International Church in Verona, Italy with Pastor Titi Chirila to serve the growing immigration population. A current Christian missionary in Sicily, who has worked with Pastor Titi Chirila, recommended him and his church and commented that he has done “an amazing job”.
This Christian community has met many people from other nations seeking a better future for their family in Europe. This center will allow the existing church to help these refugees quickly and with more resources. Once built, the church will take the responsibility of sustaining it. As followers of Jesus, we seek to demonstrate Christ's love and character, through works of charity, sharing in their burdens and encouraging people through the truth of God's Word. Through these experiences the Lord placed a missionary vision within the hearts of the International Church in Verona, that they might expand this ministry and be more effective. They are trusting the Lord to provide for a building from which to base their "Heart of the Mission Center". It is their desire to have a facility where they can welcome foreigners and non-foreigners alike, lending support, teaching the ways of Jesus, and disciplining those who come that they might avoid the pitfalls that this world so often presents.

A place of Christian worship.
A ministry center to bring the gospel to the streets of Verona, Italy.
A discipleship and training center to equip believers for ministry.
A refugee center. The desire is that all who come develop a deep connection with the Word of God that demonstrates our faith in word and deed. So often the encounter people have with Christians is in seeking practical assistance for social, medical or other care, that is difficult for the marginalized to find on their own. Our prayer is that this ministry center will be a point of hospitality and collaboration with the global Christian community.
Plans have been drawn up and renovations have been modeled. It's truly inspiring to see the dedication of Pastor Titi Chirila and the International Church in Verona, Italy, in serving their community and spreading the message of love and compassion. The vision for the "Heart of the Mission Center" is indeed ambitious, but we have a great God who we believed has birthed this vision!
The need is to raise $130,000 US for the down payment which is about 20% of what they need. GapFill.org will be a partner with Pastor Titi Chirila and the International Church in Verona in raising these funds. Pastor Chirila will be raising funds locally and plans to also travel to Italian Switzerland (which is the area of Switzerland that speaks Italian).
Raising $130,000 for the down payment is a significant goal, but with the support of GapFill.org, Pastor Titi Chirila, and the wider Christian community, we believe it's achievable. Collaboration and unity among believers from different parts of the world can indeed make a powerful impact, serving as a beacon of hope and compassion in Verona and beyond.
Can you help us to reach this goal? Every little bit helps. As was mentioned earlier, the sustainability of this center will be the responsibility of the International Church in Verona. The existing church currently helps many refugees today and this center will be a way to help them more efficiently. We pray that many believers from all parts of the world will come together to join this work, to sacrifice funds to reach the many hurting and lost souls who pass through Verona, and together we will be that beacon that Jesus intended His people to be. Together we will rejoice and glorify God.
